Projected 2010-2011 OSU Starting Lineup

QB Terrelle Pryor

RB1 Saine, RB2 Herron, RB3 Hall/Berry/Hyde
(note: Saine has the #1 spot locked. Herron will more than likely hold the #2. The question is who will land the #3? Hall, Berry, or Carlos Hyde?)

FB1 Zach Boren, FB2 Jermil Martin

WR1 DeVier Posey, WR2 Dane Sanzenbacher, WR3 Taurian Washington, WR4 Chris Fields
(note: Duron Carter is currently not practicing. It is not looking good for him. He may not end up back with the team due to academic reasons. From everything I have read, football and school are NOT at the top of his priority list. Also, look for Corey Brown to take over the #4, if not, the #3 spot.)

LT Mike Adams, LG Justin Boren, C Brewster, RG Bryant Browning, RT J.B. Shugarts
(note: There is much speculation surrounding Mike Adams and failed marijuana drug tests -- apparently he has failed twice already; if he fails one more he will receive a one year suspension. Thus, there is a very real possibility Shugarts slides over to LT and Marcus Hall fills in at RT. Also, Andrew Sweat has his name in the mix for LT too.)

RE Heyward, DT John Simon, DT Dexter Larimore, LE Nathan Williams
(note: IF Solomon Thomas performs well enough, the lineup could see Heyward move over to DT -- booting Larimore -- and Thomas & Williams at the ends.)

SAM Etienne Sabino, MIKE Ross Homan, WILL Brian Rolle
(note: Tyler Moeller is progressing -- still not participating in any contact drills -- and should see valuable minutes.)

CB Chimdi Chekwa, CB Devon Torrence
(note: I expect Chekwa to start off as the wide corner, but I would not be surprised to see Torrence nab this honor after week 2. Look for Travis Howard and Corey Brown to spell relief.)

FS Orhian Johnson
(note: I expect BIG things from this kid... I hope I'm right about him)

SS Jermale Hines

(note: Look for C.J. Barnett and Nate Oliver to challenge for time at the safety positions.)
